Often, we come to realize that what we expect from life is not always what it seems. Humans are the most complex creatures, and the world we live in today shows little concern for the future. We fail to consider the consequences of our actions today and how they might impact tomorrow.
Instant gratification fuels consumerism; an act of self-satisfaction and the desire to fulfill our wants and needs, often driven by a sense of lust. While the principles of economics drive demand and supply to new heights, so do our expenditures, with less thought given to the impact on humanity.
How Consumerism Shapes Our Needs Through Instant Gratification
Today, everyone seems to have an agenda driven by personal desires and a thirst to fulfill their earthly cravings. Technology has transformed everything, and we, as humans, have become pawns in its creation. Not only are we enslaved by it, but we also misuse and abuse its provisions, which leaves us in a constant state of conflict as we fight for survival. Humans can never truly be satisfied, as our wants and needs often exceed our desires. Yes, we may crave everything, but the question is: do we really need it all?

Every day presents a new challenge. We live in a beautiful yet complicated world, where each of us is a consumer seeking to satisfy our daily needs and wants. Whatever we do or say often puts us in a position of instant gratification. Many people don't want to do what truly needs to be done; instead, they focus on what they want to achieve in the end.
Consumers will never stop seeking ways to satisfy their hunger for more, leaving us in a cycle of lust and addiction. It's hard to pull away because manufacturers constantly cater to our desires. The more products available, the stronger our thirst for access and acquisition. Consumerism is growing rapidly, and with technology at our fingertips, our desires can be fulfilled almost instantly.
Consumerism is indeed a weapon of instant gratification because its primary goal is to satisfy our physical wants and needs. Human desires are crucial for our existence, and we are all accustomed to pursuing our personal interests and pleasures. We crave fulfillment so much that we wish for it to happen immediately. When lucky, we prefer a life of comfort and self-satisfaction, which gives way to instant gratification in every aspect of our lives.
The Need for Instant Gratification in Satisfying Our Insatiable Desires
This need arises from technological advancements, which provide sellers and innovators with the means to create urgency in their products, catering to our everyday needs and wants.

Craving immediate access and fulfillment is a clear manifestation of instant gratification. As humans and consumers, we are constantly in control of our self-interests and satisfaction, which reflect our deeper desires. Thus, the need for instant gratification becomes intertwined with our daily lives as we strive to satisfy our needs and wants in the quickest, most convenient ways possible.
